"Broken Software, GED.com refuses to acknowledge or fix it"
Took 3 tests with this site, all 3 worked fine. When I tried to take the last test, the PearsonVue OnVue software had technical difficulties. No one from the online chat forum responded to me after over 4 hours waiting. Was told to reschedule my test for the next day. Was then told that it takes a week for tech support to even look at my support ticket. I have done everything possible to verify that the problem is NOT with my system. PearsonVue support refused to help. Still no response from GED.com chat support after 5 hours.

"The worse support from an educational department"
My name is Carlos Ortiz. I was scheduled for a science test on 7/14/21 at 6:30 pm. But the site asked me to long in 30 minutes before so we can star on time. I was already login at 5:55 pm. At 6:10 someone on the chat box asked me to log out because he didn’t see me. So I did. Log back in 6:20. I waited until someone name Ingrid. Talk thru my computer. I didn’t get her name at first. So I asked “ sorry I didn’t get your name. Who am I speaking with” she replied on very rude tone. “ Ingrid” she told me that removed my wallet away from me. I did then she said. That I could do the test because my computer head set. I did not see on any where anything that head sets were prohibited. She wouldn’t work with me. I said let my do throughout my computer she said not that I needed to reschedule the test then she put some information on the chat box. ( not telling me ) of course not having anything to write on not even my cell to take a picture. She immediately log out and I couldn’t get the info. Then I try to contact customer service and notice that they closed at 7 pm. Then I knew that having a test T 6:30 pm would have put her past 7:30 pm. "They kick you out of the test for…"
They kick you out of the test for various reasons and tell you to reschedule and start over. When I requested a refund I received this reply, " Our teams are doing everything we can to respond to you in a timely manner. We are currently responding within about 4 business days." Their support line has a terrible connection - the line crackles and you can't hear the recorded messages. When I finally got a live person, her line was so bad I couldn't understand what she was saying. I'm pretty sure she hung up on me when I asked her to repeat herself. Do not use.
